Wants to know that how to Set up E-mail with Microsoft Outlook 2010? Then follow the bellow few given steps and make configure it.
Before going to start, you will need Outlook 2010 already installed on your computer and create an e-mail account in your 1&1 package.
Now follow the Given Steps
Click on Start> Control panel
If using Window XP then click on Mail option directly. If you are using vista, window 7 or above version then go to the upper right corner (Search box) of a control panel and search for Mail. By click on search you will get the icon now double click on it.
Click on E-mail Accounts button
Click on E-mail > New….. Button to add your 1&1 e-mail account.
Select Manually configure server setting or additional server types > Next
Select Internet E-mail > Next
Now fill the Required information and after filing all click on More settings
|Your Name||This name will show to the people who receive your e-mail|
|E-mail Address||1&1 E-mail address|
|Incoming mail server||pop.1 and 1.com|
|Outgoing mail server (SMTP)||Smtp.1 and 1.com|
|User Name||Your 1&1 e-mail address|
|Password||Password for your 1&1 e-mail address|
Select Outgoing server
tick for My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication and then click on Use same settings as my incoming mail server > click on Advance tab at the top of the same window.
Enter Port number 995 in Incoming Server (POP3)> Tick on SSL > enter Port 587 in Outgoing server (SMTP) > choose TLS from Drop down box > OK
Click on Next
If test part fails then again go to the previous steps and Double check all of your settings in the outlook and if the test is successful then click on Close button.
Click on Finish Button
Click on Close button from Account setting window
Click Close button from Mail setup
Now you can enjoy your Outlook 2010, begin writing and check for you mails.
